Prevention

Try to prevent exposing your power head to road salt, extreme temperature, moisture, snow and sand.  Protecting your engine from these elements will greatly extend its life.  A good solution is a bag or auger case (part # SC-1).  This will keep the whole auger clean and ready for action.

No-stick cooking spray, like PAM® will help keep ice from forming on your auger and blades in zero or below conditions
